Amid the pandemic, Shweta Patil shot a remake song of ‘Muskurayega India’ with the actors of Sony Television.
The glamorous world of modelling has always tempted everyone and it is one of the highest paying professions ever. However, the journey of being a model comes with a lot of challenges. Due to tremendous competition, the income flow is not stable because of which the celebrities need to keep themselves updated in terms of looks and style statement.
One such model who has overcome all these obstacles and has emerged as a promising name is Shweta Patil. Coming from humble backgrounds, she was brought up in Dhule; a small district near Pune. However, her life has been a travel book as she hops from one place to another for work. Currently based in London, Shweta has been a part of various photoshoots and ad films.
While most of her modelling projects in India are based in Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh and Pune; Shweta Patil has also been a part of a few modelling assignments in London. Besides her stint as a model, Shweta is keen to make a career in acting. Being a part of various dramas and plays during school, she has been fond of acting since then.
Earlier, Shweta Patil had quoted, “I was always fond of acting. As a child, I imitated and practised acting in front of the mirror. I would say modelling happed by fate and acting was something I always had in my mind.” Moreover, Shweta also expressed her interest in doing theatre plays. She revealed that she would love to be a part of a play if and when a suitable role comes her way.
During the coronavirus outbreak in India, the actress shot a remake song of ‘Muskurayega India’ with the actors of Sony Television. The original music video which released in March had Bollywood celebrities in it including Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, Sidharth Malhotra, Bhumi Pednekar among others.
The song became an instant hit when it released online and it was a ray of hope for every Indian when the deadly virus caught its grip in the country. However, the situation has now eased out and Shweta Patil has resumed her work in this new normal. She had earlier won the title of Mrs Maharashtra and was shortlisted in Mrs World International, the Philippines. Due to the unfortunate pandemic, the event got pushed to next year in January.
On the work front, the model and actress has got a lot of projects in the pipeline. Shweta Patil recently shot a Punjabi song titled ‘Attachment’ which was shot extensively in Punjab. The song is slated to release by the year-end or January 2021. It is not known to many that even before her career as a model began, Shweta worked as a corporate employee in global giants like Google and Infosys.
“It was the creative freedom which pushed me to become a model. Every project I do is a new experience and I have got to learn a lot from it”, added Shweta. The actress will now soon begin shooting of her upcoming music videos. As a responsible human, the actress has very often lent her helping hand to the ones in need. She is an active member of the Anti-Corruption team, Pune and runs an NGO called Avatar Education Punjab. To sum it up, Shweta Patil with her work has given the best and is now bringing a change in this ever-changing world.
